Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Burmese Holy Bible, Recovery Version mobile application (the “App”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

1. About the App

The Burmese Holy Bible, Recovery Version is published by Living Stream Ministry and distributed by the Myanmar Gospel Book Room (MGBR).

MGBR owns the App and is responsible for its distribution and the provision of its Bible-related content. Centennial Software Inc. provides technical maintenance and facilitates the publication and distribution of the App through third-party application distribution platforms, including the Apple App Store and Google Play, as an authorized service provider for MGBR.

Centennial Software Inc. does not claim ownership of the Bible translation, study notes, or other copyrighted materials made available through the App.

2. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The App and its contents are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

The Recovery Version Bible text, study notes, and associated materials are the property of their respective copyright holders and are made available through the App with appropriate authorization.

The App’s software, design, content, and other materials are owned by MGBR or their respective rights holders, as applicable.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any portion of the App or its contents without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder, except as permitted by applicable law.

3. Permitted Use

The App is provided for personal Bible reading and study.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

  • Copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Bible text or other copyrighted content.
  • Remove copyright notices or other proprietary markings.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security, functionality, or availability of the App.

If you obtain the App through the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

If you obtain the App through Google Play, your use is also subject to the applicable Google Play terms and conditions.

4. Purchases and Payments

The App may be offered as a paid application or through other purchasing arrangements made available through authorized application distribution platforms.

Purchases are processed through the applicable distribution platform, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to that platform’s applicable payment, refund, and purchasing policies.

Centennial Software Inc. facilitates the collection and administration of proceeds from application sales on behalf of MGBR. This arrangement does not transfer ownership of the App or its intellectual property to Centennial Software Inc.

5. Availability and Updates

MGBR and Centennial Software Inc. make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and proper functioning of the App across supported devices and authorized application distribution platforms.

However, the App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, software updates, technical difficulties, network interruptions, or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.

The App may be updated periodically to improve functionality, correct errors, or provide additional features. Continued use of the App following an update remains subject to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the App, subject to applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Although reasonable efforts are made to maintain the accuracy and functionality of the App, MGBR and Centennial Software Inc. do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any warranty or consumer protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MGBR and Centennial Software Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, and handled in connection with the App.

Please review the Privacy Policy separately.

9. Termination

Your permission to use the App may be terminated if you materially violate these Terms.

Upon termination, you must discontinue any use of the App and its content that is no longer authorized.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that, by their nature, are intended to survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable laws, or our distribution arrangements.

Any revised Terms will be published at the applicable Terms of Service URL. The Effective Date at the beginning of the document will indicate when the latest version took effect.

Your continued use of the App following publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
